Rodeo Attendance
We suggest coming about 1-1.5 hours early so you can get the seat you want and don’t have to worry about the crowds at the gate even though we try to get everyone through as quickly as possible. This gives you time to VISIT WITH OUR VARIOUS VENDERS that are set up on the grounds. Saturday night is the busiest so we usually suggest 1.5-2 hrs so you can get the seat you want. We start all performances at the designated show times.
Each performance is an estimated 3 hours. Following the rodeo on Thursday, Friday & Saturday night, we have a Cowboy Party for spectators & contestants who wish to attend at no charge.
All performances contain the same events with the exception being different contestants. There are eight rodeo events plus more including bareback & saddle bronc riding, tie down roping, cowgirls breakaway, team roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, bull riding and cattle penning. We have acts by clowns, specialty performers and a stick horse race & calf scramble for the kids to participate in.
The rodeo always starts off with the Grand Entry & bronc riding and ends with bull riding. Stick horse race & calf scramble are just before intermission (20 minutes) and cattle penning is the event following intermission.
